At the moment, we have no idea about when the album is done, neither when it’s gonna be released.
The only thing that we know for sure is, that it’s gonna be EPIC. And very different, indeed.

We’ve nearly finished preparing the material for the album, and only a few people, besides the five of us, have heard the majority of the songs, that we’re gonna put on the album.

For those of you, who´re curios about it, keep coming back, because we’re gonna publish studio-dairies, and maybe a few videos, on this page.

Therefore, the last gig we will be playing in a while, is a warm-up gig for The Blue Van, at Rytmeposten this friday (18/09-09) in the city of Odense, Denmark.

So, make sure to invite your friends, family, famous dictators and what-not, to an evening of pure rock ‘n’ roll, sexy ladies and ice cold beer!

We just played a concert at a small, danish music festival called Nakke Festival; and let me tell you, it sure was action-packed!

After a long gigless period, we were still a bit stiff and rusty, but all in all the concert went fine.

No major fuckups and the crowd seemed to be having a great time.

Well, enough about that.

Nearly every good party has some heavy drinking involved and this was no exception.

The orgasmic five were soon drunk as skunks, yelling slightly inappropriate (but friendly) things at Don Saund, dancing, singing, kissing and doing practically everything else a good party needs!

Needless to say, one of us threw up (I’m not mentioning any names, but he’s very tall!).

The next day, I woke up in a sweet canadian guys tent.

(the rest of those details are classified information. I would have no choice but to kill you if you knew. For our country’s sake and what-not!).

After waking up and saying my farewells, I went back to our band-tent. I did find it a bit peculiar that the tent was almost empty, but I was way too tired to think more about it and in less than 5 mintues I was far away in dream land.

Around 6 pm:

I wake up, very confused. No sign of the others and my phone is dead. My surroundings seem more and more unfamiliar, and then I realize:  I’m in a completely random tent. For 5 hours or so I’ve been sleeping in a strangers tent (and yes, drinking their coke :S)

I hurry out, still a bit drunk, smoking a slightly wet cig and cursing myself for being so stupid.

I soon find the others. They had been searching for me all day and had become slightly worried, especially ’cause some man had called Joe up and apologized, on behalf of the festival, for me being harrased the night before.

(to put things straight; I had not been harrased the night before. If I had, I probably would have enjoyed it )

Other stuff that happened:

• Thea, Fillip, Joe and Silas had all walked down to the canadian guys tent, demanding to know where I was,  what had happened and if I was alright. Needless to say, they just made him nervous too.
• There was a small chance that the canadian guy had a weird flu that makes your mouth bleed, so he had to wear a surgical mask .
• We all got hangovers!

So, I guess that’s about it. It doesn’t actually sound as actionpacked, as it does in my head, but trust me it was. And the most important thing is we had fun.

Sorry for the long blog. I was going to put  a picture of a duck here, but I couldn’t get it to work. Too bad, it was a handsome duck.

Man skulle jo tro at de opfattede det som om at de gjorde os en tjeneste ved at lade os spille. Det er så simpelt at gøre det til en god oplevelse for et band at skulle spille til et arrangement. Her er en lille tjekliste:

1. En afvikler der tager sig af bandet, og har styr på sådan nogle ting som tidsplan, udstyr og forplejning. Og som meget gerne må byde ordentligt velkommen og sætte os ind i de praktiske detaljer.
2. En fornuftig mængde drikkevarer. Det koster så lidt at købe en kasse øl eller to til bandet, og det gør en kæmpe forskel.
3. Hav tjek på jeres udstyr. Hvis i siger der fx. er et trommesæt så nævn da lige hvis der ikke er fx. en trommestol, en hi-hat clutch eller noget tredje. Det samme gælder også fx. mikrofoner og stativer. Vi har det og vil gerne tage det med!
4. Vis en lille smule taknemmelighed. Vi bruger en hel dag på at køre bil, slæbe gear og spille koncert… uden at få noget som helst for det. Fordi vi godt kan lide at spille, og fordi vi gerne vil være med til at skabe en god fest. Så bare lige et “Fedt i gider at komme”, så er vi glade
