When speaking of being a rock’n'roller, most people envision a longhaired, whiskey-drinking dude, riding a motorbike.
But in the case of Emily and the Orgasm Addicts, that couldn’t be more wrong. Here, rock is personified as a cheap-cigarette-puffing young girl, passing her time online.

Very few people manage to be so poor, yet so cool, as the members of Emily and the Orgasm Addicts. Shrouded in an aura of lack-of-succes in ordinary life-goals, such as education, making money and generally living a reasonable life, the band is here to prove, that there’s also a party at the bottom and everyone’s invited.

The young Emily has an incomparable voice; it’s plastic, arty and sharp as a knife, delivering to-the-point-lyrics filled with details about you and herself, that you really didn’t need to know. She’s always ready to dress up against all motherly-prescriptions, take you to a local bar and let you fail in drinking her under the table. She’s half-irish so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

The Orgasm Addicts is the band behind Emily. They are three boys and one girl, whom at first might look like something the cat dragged in, but they actually turn out to be a tight and wellplaying rockband.
They manage to construct surprising hooklines of a very minimalistic nature. Combined with Emilys unique voice, the five of them create a sound that is quirky, edgy and indeed very distinguishable from the rest of the danish rockscene.
